Confidential is seeking an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team. You’ll explore costs, profitability and opportunities to improve performance while moving beyond basic month-end reporting.

You’ll work with senior stakeholders across operations, procurement and supply chain, developing business partnering skills in a hands-on role with ERP systems and budgeting support.

Qualifications

• This opportunity seeks a driven finance professional with part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in a finance role, ideally in manufacturing/engineering environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse operational costs across the business.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand spending and improve accuracy.

Your new role

Working as part of a supportive finance team, you'll play a key role in understanding business costs, analysing profitability and helping identify opportunities to improve performance.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the review and analysis of operational costs across the business
• Working closely with operational teams to understand spending and improve financial accuracy
• Maintaining and updating financial information within the ERP system
• Assisting with profitability and margin reporting
• Supporting inventory and stock reconciliations
• Helping identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
• Producing financial analysis and reporting for managers across the business
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc project work
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and operations

What you’ll need to succeed
