Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced finance professional to own the month-end close, prepare management accounts and perform variance analysis in a manufacturing environment. You will produce P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting, while maintaining ledgers and fixed asset records.

The role includes overseeing ledgers, reconciliations and inventory cost reporting. The ideal candidate holds ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualifications with 5+ years in accounting, strong Excel and ERP experience (Dynamics

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting/finance roles with a manufacturing focus.
• Strong month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliation skills.
• Good knowledge of journals, accruals, prepayments and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP) and ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance controls and reporting efficiency.

Profile

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Essential manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of month-end reporting, management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of journals, accruals, prepayments and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP; Dynamics 365 experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory accounting, stock control, costing and ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Highly organised, deadline-focused and able to communicate effectively with both finance and operational teams.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
