Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Lead Plumber to maintain, modify and install the plumbing systems that keep our studios running at their best.

You will work closely with the Lead Plumber, Maintenance Manager and Facilities Administrators to ensure safety and high standards across the site. You’ll plan tasks, coach team members and respond to emergencies, keeping productivity sharp and ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Use and maintain site plant equipment such as MEWPS.
• Work knowledge of HVAC systems and sanitary/drainage.
• Adhere to H&S standards and interpret drawings for plumbing layouts.
• Understand maintenance requirements and use on-site equipment.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Write and deliver risk assessments and method statements.
• Monitor H&S compliance (PPE, etc.) per policy.
• Operate and maintain mechanical systems via the BMS.
• Supervise and carry out small installation works and modifications.
• Respond to emergencies with a view to permanent or safe temporary fixes.
• Undertake general maintenance tasks and surveys, including heights.
• Stand in for the Lead plumber and manage rotas and holiday requests.
