Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery at Leavesden Studio is seeking an experienced Assistant Lead Plumber to maintain, modify and install plumbing systems across our iconic site. You will work with the Lead Plumber and Facilities team to ensure safety, efficiency and quality across all plumbing tasks.

The role requires hands-on practical knowledge of industrial plumbing, BMS controls, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Onsite work with rota patterns, including evenings and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience with industrial/commercial HVAC and drainage systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings and building specifications for piping layouts.
• Knowledge of H&S standards and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with BMS controls and building services.
• Desirable NVQ/Gas Safe qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Write and deliver risk assessments and method statements.
• Monitor H&S compliance and PPE usage.
• Operate and maintain mechanical systems via the BMS.
• Supervise and carry out installation work on plumbing systems.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate on-site rotas.
