Assistant Hospitality & Events Manager - Canary Wharf

Are you a dynamic and experienced individual looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a talented Assistant Hospitality & Events Manager to join our team at Canary Wharf, offering an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of exceptional service and help manage events within a prestigious corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the planning and execution of hospitality services and events, including buffets, fine dining dinners, canapé receptions, and corporate gatherings.
  2. Support the leadership team in recruiting, training, and motivating a team to ensure top-tier service at all times.
  3. Help manage staffing levels to meet operational needs while maintaining budgetary control.
  4. Ensure all event spaces and hospitality areas meet Health and Safety standards and are well-maintained.
  5. Collaborate with clients to ensure their event needs are met and exceed expectations.
  6. Assist in achieving financial targets, preparing business forecasts, and managing event budgets.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements.

  1. Proven experience in hospitality, event management, or contract catering, ideally in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  2. Strong team support and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  3. Excellent communication skills, financial management understanding, and problem-solving ability.
