My client is a global pharmaceutical company dedicated to healthcare innovation and environmental sustainability. They aim to improve quality of life by preventing, alleviating, and curing diseases. Their portfolio includes specialties in oncology, neuroscience, and rare diseases.
There is an opportunity for a Congress / Events Project Manager to join their Global Medical team on an initial 6-month contract.
Outside IR35
Remote UK - must be able to travel as needed.
P/T - 3.5 days per week.
Your new role
As the Global Medical Publications and Communications (GMPC) Project Manager, you will support the GMPC Congress Manager and the GMA team in enhancing the medical presence and communication at global congresses. Your responsibilities include ensuring consistency across therapeutic areas to strengthen the company's external image and optimizing the congress process for global projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be an experienced project manager with extensive experience in Event Management, including strategic planning and hands-on delivery. You should be able to apply emerging trends, build strong relationships, and contribute to expertise within and beyond your area. International exposure or experience in multicultural environments is essential. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging at all levels. Experience in a pharmaceutical or medical education environment is required. You should be detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize and manage high-volume tasks. Technical knowledge of booth design and exhibition management is preferred. A results-driven attitude is essential.
