Job summary

Coventry Alternative Provision Academy (CAPA) is seeking an inspiring, resilient Assistant Headteacher to pioneer our Intervention Programs and Inclusion strategies. This is not a traditional senior leadership role.

You will hold operational and strategic responsibility across our dual-site provision, designing bespoke student support, championing personal development and behaviour, and leading a motivated staff team. You will also oversee safeguarding as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Qualifications

• QTS-qualified practitioner with track record of driving student outcomes.
• Experience leading inclusive strategies and staff development.
• Ability to build partnerships with families and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Intervention Programs and Inclusion strategies.
• Design bespoke student support packages.
• Champion personal development and behaviour.
• Lead a staff team and coach colleagues.
• Execute Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead duties.
