E-ACT Bristol Academy South Secondary is seeking an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Headteacher – Behaviour. This role shapes academy culture, leads behaviour, attendance and inclusion strategies, and creates an environment where every pupil can learn, thrive and achieve their full potential.

As a strategic leader you will develop and implement behaviour systems that promote high standards, work with families and external agencies, and collaborate with pastoral

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven track record of improving pupil outcomes.
• Experience of leadership and management within a school.
• Outstanding leadership and people management skills.
• Strong understanding of behaviour management, safeguarding, attendance and inclusion, with ability to analyse data.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for behaviour, conduct and academy culture, ensuring high expectations and positive outcomes for all pupils.
• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of behaviour systems, policies and improvement strategies across the academy.
• Oversee attendance, inclusion and pupil engagement, working with pastoral teams and external agencies to improve outcomes.
• Lead and support Heads of Year, Pastoral Leaders and associated teams, ensuring effective and consistent pastoral systems.
• Deliver staff training, coaching and professional development to strengthen behaviour management, inclusion and classroom practice
