Location: New Barn School, Newbury, RG20 8HZ
Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth in service, we are recruiting an Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion and SEND for New Barn School in Newbury. Our well-established schools support pupils aged 6 to 19 who have social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), as well as other complex needs.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to lead on Inclusion. The successful candidate will have experience working with young people with a range of complex learning needs and a good understanding of how these needs impact learning and behaviour. You may have specialist knowledge of pupils with SEMH. You will be expected to foster a culture of excellence among learners and staff, and contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
New Barn School offers a broad curriculum for children aged 6–19 with SEMH. It utilizes outdoor learning including forest school, farm experiences, and horse riding. The school is accessible from Swindon, Oxford, Andover, Basingstoke, and Reading.
