Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We are recruiting an Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion and SEND for New Barn School in Newbury, supporting pupils aged 6 to 19 with SEMH and other complex needs.

Who we are looking for

Experience working with young people with complex learning needs, understanding their impact on learning and behaviour, and possibly specialist knowledge of SEMH. Ability to foster a culture of excellence and contribute to curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high educational standards and attainment through engaging personal development programs.
• Lead on areas such as Careers, Enrichment, Trips, Visits, PSHE, and staff training.
• Model outstanding classroom practice and provide visible leadership.
