The Copthorne Hotel Manchester sits on the Salford Quays waterfront and is part of the Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK portfolio. We are seeking an Assistant Head Housekeeper to join the Housekeeping team, working closely with the Housekeeping Manager to supervise and support the team with strong attention to detail.

Key duties include ensuring high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas, conducting checks, training the team, and taking a hands-on approach to deliver outstanding

Qualifications

• Strong housekeeping experience within hotels at supervisory/management level.
• Experience supervising teams.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota, including weekends.

Responsibilities

The Copthorne Hotel Manchester is seeking an Assistant Head Housekeeper to join the Housekeeping team. Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, you will play an intricate part in supervising and supporting the team, with the successful candidate having real attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

As an Assistant Head Housekeeper, key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness within all areas of the hotel including guest rooms
• Conducting checks of rooms and public areas and addressing standards/issues with the team members directly taking corrective action where required
• Assisting the Head Housekeeper with team training, ensuring that all team members receive appropriate training and support to deliver standards required
• Getting involved in all aspects of the Housekeeping department in this ‘hands on’ role, working closely with the team to deliver excellent standards
• Supporting the Head Housekeeper with management tasks within the department

What we are looking for?
