Job summary

The Copthorne Hotel Manchester, part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK, is seeking an Assistant Head Housekeeper to join the Housekeeping team at Salford Quays. You will supervise the team, support the Housekeeping Manager, and ensure meticulous standards and calm performance under pressure.

Key responsibilities include room and public area checks, staff training support, hands-on involvement with the team, and assisting with department tasks. Weekend rota is required.

Qualifications

• Experience at supervisory/management level in hotel housekeeping.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct room/public area checks and address issues with the team.
• Support Head Housekeeper with training and development.
• Hands-on involvement with the team to maintain standards.
• Assist management with department tasks as required.
