Job summary

PureGym is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to lead and develop a team of fitness professionals, ensuring top-tier member experiences and high service standards. You will work closely with the Gym Manager to recruit, train, and motivate staff, while expanding group exercise offerings and supporting community engagement.

The role focuses on delivering outstanding service, driving staff growth, and contributing to membership growth within a dynamic, wellbeing-focused gym environment.

Qualifications

• L2 qualification in gym instructing.
• Experience teaching group exercise.
• Strong leadership and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience with high service standards, alongside the Gym Manager.
• Support the Gym Manager to recruit and develop a talent pipeline, mentoring Personal Trainers and Gym Instructors.
• Lead and motivate a team to maintain exceptional standards and foster a positive work environment.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for fitness staff.
• Manage and improve Group Exercise (GEX) offerings within the club.
