Job summary

PureGym in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to support member experience and team development within a dynamic, service-focused club. You will lead by example to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer care.

You will recruit, train and supervise a team of Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors, drive group exercise initiatives, and collaborate with the Gym Manager to grow membership while delivering outstanding value.

Qualifications

• Experience leading fitness staff and delivering member-focused service.
• A L2 qualification in gym instructing, and experience teaching group exercise.
• Proven ability to drive results with resilience and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience with high service standards.
• Support the Gym Manager to recruit joiners through outreach and events.
• Lead and develop a team of trainers and gym instructors.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for staff.
• Manage group exercise and improve offerings.
