Job summary

PureGym Dundee is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to lead a team of fitness professionals and drive high‑quality service. You will work closely with the Gym Manager to develop staff, deliver exceptional member experiences, and grow memberships through outreach and events.

With a L2 gym instruction qualification and group exercise experience, you will inspire your team, manage day‑to‑day operations, and champion PureGym’s standards across the club. This is a full‑time on‑site role.

Qualifications

• L2 gym instruction qualification.
• Experience teaching group exercise.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent member experience alongside the Gym Manager with a focus on service and standards.
• Support the Gym Manager to recruit and develop talent through outreach and events.
• Lead a team of Personal Trainers/Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors, fostering a positive work environment.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for fitness staff to enhance skills and career growth.
• Group Exercise: manage and improve the GEX offering within the gym.
