Homes for Students, the UK's leading independent provider of Student Accommodation, is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Grosvenor House Property in London. You will manage a busy site, ensuring high standards of service across sales, maintenance and housekeeping from 9:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.

You will lead a team, support check-in/check-out, and coordinate room turnovers during the September peak, while working with supportive area and regional teams to uphold company values.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a team in a similar setting.
• Proven ability to present and analyse information accurately.
• Excellent organisational skills to ensure smooth operations.
• Ability to motivate and lead team members.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is desirable.

This exciting opportunity offers 40 hours per week, working 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, providing you with a dynamic and rewarding work experience. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service across our sales, maintenance, and housekeeping departments. With your strong leadership skills, you will collaborate closely with our dedicated team to uphold our company values and ensure optimal performance in every aspect of our operations. The highlight of your role will be the bustling September period, where you will support the General Manager and the wider site team in the check-in, check-out, and room turnaround processes. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial in supporting our new students and managing any customer or operational challenges that arise. Person Specification:

• Previous experience in team management within a similar role or environment
• Proficiency in presenting and analysing information accurately and effectively
• Excellent organisational skills to ensure seamless operations

• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is desirable but not essential
