Homes for Students in Cambridge is seeking a General Manager to lead a thriving student community and deliver outstanding living experiences. You will guide a team to provide top-tier service in sales, maintenance and housekeeping, embedding our core values and fostering growth across the stores and operations.

The successful candidate will manage check-in/out and room turnover with strong communication and leadership, supported by our wider Homes for Students family and regional team throughout

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a student accommodation team to deliver exceptional service across sales, maintenance and housekeeping.
• Oversee check-in, check-out and room turnaround processes with strong customer focus.
• Manage budgets and resources while ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with the Homes for Students regional team to drive continuous improvement.
• Support new students and resolve operational issues with clear communication.

Homes for Students, the UK's largest independent provider of Student Accommodation, is currently seeking a GeneralManager for Stellaris inCambridge.This isn't your average 9-to-5 job; it's a chance to lead, inspire, and take charge of a thriving student community. Your weekly hours will be 40 hours per week, working 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

About the Role:

As our General Manager, you'll be the driving force behind an exceptional student living experience. You'll work closely with your team to ensure top-notch customer service in sales, maintenance, and housekeeping. Your leadership will be instrumental in embedding our core values and enabling your team to excel in their roles.

The pinnacle of excitement awaits in September, as you take the reins of the check-in, check-out, and room turnaround process. Your outstanding communication skills will shine as you support our new students and efficiently handle any customer or operational issues that arise.
