Homes for Students in Leeds is seeking an Assistant General Manager for The Tannery Property. You will lead teams across sales, maintenance and housekeeping, delivering first-class customer service and supporting check-in/out and room turnover during the busy September period.

You will work with the General Manager and site colleagues to ensure smooth operations and uphold our values. The role offers a 40-hour week and strong progression opportunities within a supportive regional structure.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams in a similar role or environment.
• Presenting and analyzing information accurately and effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills to ensure seamless operations.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service across our sales, maintenance, and housekeeping departments. With your strong leadership skills, you will collaborate closely with our dedicated team to uphold our company values and ensure optimal performance in every aspect of our operations.

The highlight of your role will be the bustling September period, where you will support the General Manager and the wider site team in the check-in, check-out, and room turnaround processes. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial in supporting our new students and managing any customer or operational challenges that arise.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in team management within a similar role or environment
• Proficiency in presenting and analysing information accurately and effectively
• Excellent organisational skills to ensure seamless operations
• Ability to work collaboratively, inspire, and motivate team members
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is desirable but not essential
