Job description

The Role:

We need an Assistant General Manager who brings energy, passion, and a strong presence on the floor. You’ll lead from the front, keep service running smoothly, and develop a high-performing team while staying on top of the numbers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Running daily operations – from opening to close, including reports and cash-ups.
2. Leading team briefings and keeping service sharp.
3. Coaching and supporting staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
4. Handling customer feedback and ensuring high standards are met.
5. Managing rotas, training, hiring, and menu development.
6. Keeping an eye on P&L, driving sales, and maximising performance.
7. Implementing and maintaining strong SOPs.
8. Building and developing a team that grows with the business.

What We’re Looking For:

1. A natural leader who motivates and inspires.
2. Strong financial understanding with a commercial mindset.
3. Confidence in running a site with full autonomy, reporting to a fab GM.
4. Experience with openings or large-scale projects is a bonus.
5. At least 2 years’ experience in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant.
6. A solid CV that shows ambition, progression, and well-rounded skills.
7. A passion for premium dining – from food and wine to service and experience.
