Popeyes UK Chicken & Pizza Ltd. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant operations in Glasgow. You will coach and develop the team, drive sales, manage costs, and uphold food safety and service standards in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant.
• Experience leading results through your teams, coaching, training and honest conversations.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems.
• Strong people leadership, building teams and developing future leaders.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Responsabilités

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes’ food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support the GM in building a winning plan and smashing performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be the role model—set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire your team.
• Create a warm, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent—you’ll know how to build a dream team pipeline for future talent.
• Bring the fun and keep energy high, ensure smooth service and a vibrant culture.
• Take the reins when the GM is away and pursue personal development—stepping stone to leadership.
