Popeyes UK&I is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant in Broadstairs. You will support the GM, drive guest standards, and coach a diverse team to deliver exceptional service and food quality.

You'll manage day-to-day operations, ensure HACCP and health & safety compliance, coach talent, and help build a winning team ready for future leadership opportunities in our Popeyes University learning platform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR.
• Experience leading teams, coaching, and driving sales with honest conversations.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management and inventory systems.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards consistently.

Responsibilities

• Help run the restaurant and lead the team to deliver Popeyes' outstanding food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards.
• Support your GM in building a winning plan and smashing performance goals.
• Ensure full team compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation.
• Be the role model—set the tone, keep standards high, and inspire your team.
• Recruit, develop and retain top talent—you'll know how to build a dream team + pipeline future talent.
