Blank Street is seeking an Operations/General Manager‑to‑be in Cambridge. You will support the Operations Manager/General Manager in running a high‑performing store and build the skills, judgment, and leadership to become a future General Manager.

You will lead from the front on shift, coach the team in real time, and help turn the store into a benchmark of retail excellence through hands‑on leadership, operational rhythm, and commercial decision‑making.

Formación

• Experience leading shifts in high-volume stores.
• Strong standards mindset with ability to give clear, kind feedback.
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure and motivate others.

Responsabilidades

• Own every drink leaving the store; craftsmanship and quality control.
• Keep store immaculate front and back of house.
• Lead from the front; set pace each shift and provide real-time coaching.
• Coach Baristas and Shift Leads with hands-on feedback and training support.
• Assist in hiring by identifying talent and supporting recruitment.
• Develop future leaders while nurturing current team development.
• Foster a positive, engaged culture with clear communication.
• Design each shift by station to balance labour with demand.
• Monitor labour productivity and store performance; drive commercial results.
• Support inventory discipline and waste reduction with daily habits.
• Spot inefficiencies and implement practical improvements with GM/OM alignment.
• Explain changes and reinforce new habits to ensure adoption.
