Job summary

Côte Brasserie in St Albans is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running a busy restaurant and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead front-of-house operations, maintain standards of service, manage shifts and costs, and help develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced, French-brasserie environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant or brasserie.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for hospitality, food and wine.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure service standards reflect the quality and style of a classic French brasserie.
• Assist with training team members, developing them internally and managing performance.
• Help manage rotas, labour costs, and operational efficiency.

The Role
