Job summary

Hexagon Group seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Facilities Manager to support the day-to-day operation of a corporate office in Southampton and supervise two nearby satellite sites. The role covers hard and soft services with travel between sites as required.

A discretionary bonus accompanies a salary of £35,000 to £38,000. You will manage contractors, coordinate maintenance, and maintain health and safety records, while delivering a high level of customer service to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience as Facilities Coordinator or Assistant Facilities Manager in a corporate office.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and oversee health and safety.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across the main site in Southampton and two nearby satellites.
• Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and reactive works with the Facilities Manager.
• Review audits to ensure KPIs and safety records are up to date.
• Raise purchase orders, perform site inspections, and produce reports with recommendations.
• Ensure robust emergency response procedures and fire safety arrangements.
