Savills is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee two Southampton sites, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with safety standards. You will coordinate maintenance, manage contractors, and lead preventive maintenance initiatives while supporting additional sites when needed.

The role requires a strong facilities management background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver efficient services.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team or alone.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to deal with confidential information.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and multitask in a calm and professional manner.
• Able to work under pressure to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of two facilities in Southampton.
• Manage soft and hard service contractors, ensuring timely delivery.
• Source, negotiate and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Oversee maintenance and operations of buildings and facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance, PPMS, and small projects.
