Job summary

Office Angels in Surbiton is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee engineering, facilities, and maintenance across four hospitality sites in the local area. The role requires a driver and involves occasional travel between sites, with hours 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will manage preventative and reactive maintenance, oversee contractors, drive energy efficiency, and ensure safety and compliance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or engineering management.
• Strong knowledge of building services and maintenance operations.
• Excellent understanding of UK health & safety and statutory compliance.
• Proven contractor and supplier management experience.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engineering & Maintenance - manage all maintenance operations including building services, PPM and reactive maintenance issues.
• Compliance, Health & Safety - ensure full compliance and conduct risk assessments.
• Leadership & Team Management - lead maintenance teams across sites and performance reviews.
• Budget & Contractor Management - support budgets, monitor spend and manage supplier relationships
• Sustainability & Energy Management - Identify and implement energy saving initiatives and monitor consumption
• Project & Refurbishment Control - support refurbishments and projects across the group
