SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Consultant to join our Environment & Safety division in Reading. You will contribute to environmental consultancy projects, including soil and water sampling, ground investigation oversight, and producing factual and interpretative reports across multiple technical disciplines.

We value independent work, teamwork, and strong communication as we support clients to manage risk and comply with UK legislation.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Assistant Consultant to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in environmental or scientific consultancy, along with knowledge of soil and water sampling and environmental monitoring, is essential to thrive in this position.
