Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to join our Environment & Safety division, supporting environmental monitoring and sampling across varied sites.

You will work independently and with a team, travel to sites, hold a full UK driving licence, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering accurate data and on-time reporting.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to multiple sites across the UK.
• Full, clean UK driving licence required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to varied sites.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Environmental Field Technician to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in environmental monitoring, along with knowledge of guidelines, legislation and best practice, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Trade effluent and environmental monitoring

To be a successful Environmental Field Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:

• Willingness to travel
