Job summary

SOCOTEC Building Control Limited is seeking a proactive Project Manager to support the Environment & Safety division in asbestos services. You will program and oversee testing and inspection works while maintaining strong client relationships and contract performance.

The role requires BOHS P402/P403/P404/P405 qualifications, solid project management experience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403, P404 and/or P405 qualifications.
• Experience in asbestos services and project management.
• Strong organisational, leadership and commercial skills.

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our Environment & Safety division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Project Manager to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in asbestos consultancy and project management, along with strong client-facing skills, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Programming and managing asbestos testing and inspection works
• Maintaining client relationships and overseeing contract performance
• Ensuring compliance with UKAS, quality and health & safety procedures

Qualifications

To be a successful Project Manager, you should be able to demonstrate:

• BOHS P402, P403, P404 and/or P405 qualifications
• Project management experience within asbestos services
• Strong organisational, leadership and commercial skills
