Job summary

Slough Borough Council is seeking 3 experienced and professional early years practitioners to deliver high quality early years provision in line with EYFS. You will work within a Best Start Family Hub and Children’s Centre as part of a multi-agency team to support children’s development and safety.

Role is 17.5 hours per week, term-time only, with a pro-rata salary of £28,839–£30,672 depending on experience and local weighting. Interviews in late Oct 2026.

What you'll be doing:

We are seeking to engage 3 experienced and professional early years practitioner. As an early years practitioner, you will deliver high quality early years provision that promotes and supports the needs of all children through effective holistic care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

You will work as part of a multi-agency team within a Best Start Family Hub and Children's Centre, ensuring children are happy, safe, loved and thriving.

You will develop professional relationships, with multi-agency services and parents / carers to ensure continuity of care for children.

Please note, this is a 17.5hours Term Time only role.
