Job summary

  • Commitment to inclusion, accessibility and meaningful participation.
  • Experience of SEND Local Offers, website content management or digital accessibility is advantageous.

Job description

  • Pay Level:6, £37,711 - £42,307(Fully inclusive of Local Weighting Allowance)
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Hours:37hours per week
  • Location:Observatory House/ Slough Hybrid(minimum 2 days per week in the office)
  • DBS requirement:Enhanced

What you’ll be doing:

Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the skills to bring together information, services and stakeholder voices to create meaningful change?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Senior Local Offer Coordinator to lead the ongoing development and improvement of Slough's SEND Local Offer.

In this rewarding role, you will coordinate the day-to-day management, quality assurance and continuous improvement of the Local Offer, ensuring that children, young people, families and professionals can access accurate, accessible and comprehensive information about services and support available across Slough.

You will work closely with education, health, social care, community and voluntary sector partners to maintain high-quality information and identify opportunities for service improvement. A key aspect of the role is leading co-production and engagement activities, ensuring the voices of children and young people with SEND, parents and carers help shape the future development of the Local Offer.

You will also analyse performance data, website analytics and stakeholder feedback to identify trends and gaps, producing reports and recommendations that support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

You will have:
  • Experience of coordinating projects, programmes or service improvement initiatives.

  • Experience of SEND Local Offers, website content management, digital accessibility or local authority services would be advantageous but is not essential.
