To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team.

The role:

As an Assistant Cook in one of our schools, you will assist in preparing and delivering a healthy, nutritious, and fun menu for students and staff. You will focus on providing high-quality food and service, showcasing flair and originality to make this one of the best catering offers in the area.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing menus using provided recipes
2. Ensuring Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health and Safety compliance
3. Producing hospitality services as per client requests
4. Building relationships with clients and customers
5. Providing friendly and polite customer service

About you:

We are looking for someone passionate about delivering exceptional food and service in schools, with the following skills and experience:

1. Knowledge of education catering, using fresh ingredients, and excellent craft skills
2. Food Hygiene Level 2 (further training available)
3. Good understanding of health and safety practices
4. Self-motivated, proactive, eager to learn and achieve, with the ability to motivate others
