Job Description

ibis Styles Barnsley hotel is looking for a Chef to help us deliver tasty meals for our busy guests. This casual position comes with a salary of up to £12.21 per hour plus benefits and will support our kitchen team during busy times.

If you are experienced in a busy kitchen and can confidently prepare tasty and consistent dishes, this could be the role for you. We are seeking someone with professional cooking experience who can be a great addition to our kitchen team. Responsibilities include cooking, leading the kitchen team, managing stocks and supplies, minimizing costs, maximizing profits, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.

The role is suitable for someone with experience working in a pub, high street restaurant, or hotel who can follow our menu and uphold high standards.

As a 24/7 business, flexibility to work mornings, evenings, midweek, and weekends is required.

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience cooking in a professional kitchen
