A leading corporate governance provider in the UK is seeking an Assistant Consultant to support governance professionals with duties including meeting support, compliance, and advisory services. This role offers hybrid working, requiring proximity to London or Leeds offices. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to corporate governance. Join a collaborative team that values professional development and offers great benefits including annual leave and health rewards.
In our Corporate Governance team, we know you as an Assistant Consultant, but you may know the role as a Company Secretarial Assistant or a Company Secretarial Trainee, but they all lead to a career as a Company Secretary.
The Assistant Consultant role provides you with an opportunity to work closely with experienced governance professionals in the delivery of a broad range of tasks, including meeting support, statutory and regulatory compliance and corporate governance best practice advice to clients, including London‑listed public companies.
We have the professional development of our team members at the heart of what we do, ensuring they have the knowledge to deliver to our varied client base. We have a supportive team culture that helps identify learning opportunities and encourages improvement. You'll already have the Chartered Secretary / Governance Professional qualification, but if you are part‑qualified, you'll work towards the qualification by receiving relevant work experience and having the opportunity to complete your professional studies.
The Assistant Consultant role is based on a hybrid basis from either our stunning central London office, or our fantastic city centre office in Leeds. You'll need to be within a commutable distance of one of the offices to enable you to spend valuable face‑to‑face time with your colleagues each week.
