The Celtic Collection is seeking an Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager at Celtic Manor Resort to lead day‑to‑day operations for conferences, banquets and events. You will supervise teams, ensure flawless delivery, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast‑paced, hospitality‑rich environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience within a Conference & Banqueting, Events or hospitality environment.
• Experience delivering high‑quality service for conferences, banquets, weddings or large‑scale events.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A passion for developing and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results.
• A proactive and hands‑on approach, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day management of Conference & Banqueting operations, ensuring every event runs smoothly and successfully.
• Lead, coach and motivate team members, creating a positive and high‑performing working environment.
• Coordinate the setup, delivery and breakdown of conferences, banquets and special events to the highest standards.
• Monitor service standards, guest feedback and operational procedures to continually enhance the customer experience.
• Work closely with internal departments and event organisers to ensure seamless event delivery and memorable guest experiences.
