Housing 21 is seeking an Assistant Care Manager to oversee day-to-day care within a designated Extra Care scheme in Leeds. You will ensure residents receive high quality, personalised care plans in line with safeguarding and CQC standards.

You will manage rotas, secure adequate staffing, monitor performance, and act as the first point of contact for residents, families and partner agencies, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and with empathy.

Qualifications

• Proven management/supervisory experience in care services.
• Strong understanding of care planning and safeguarding.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
• Experience of managing and scheduling staff rotas.
• Excellent organisation and problem solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of care services within a designated Extra Care scheme.
• Create and regularly review personalised care plans with residents and families.
• Oversee scheduling of rotas and ensure adequate staffing with value for money.
• Monitor performance and quality of care services and identify risks.
• Act as first point of contact for residents, families and partner agencies.
