Zusammenfassung

SIG Roofing in the UK is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager and drive everyday operations across sales, service and safety. You’ll lead a team, build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and ensure efficient stock control, pricing and deliveries.

With a focus on coaching and performance, you’ll step in when needed, promote a service-driven culture and help identify growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Sales or customer service experience in construction or building materials.
• Good understanding of roofing products (preferred but not essential).
• Team leadership experience or supervisory capability.
• Strong communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office, databases).

• Support the delivery of sales and margin targets across the branch.
• Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Ensure efficient stock control, pricing strategies, and timely deliveries.
• Champion a positive health & safety culture and ensure compliance with standards.
• Help maintain vehicles, perform pre-shift checks, and oversee branch infrastructure.
• Lead by example and support a motivated, service-driven team.
• Identify growth opportunities and respond to competitor activity.
• Be hands-on and flexible on the trade counter, in the yard, or admin support.
