SIG plc, the UK’s leading roofing merchant, is hiring a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations with a strong focus on sales performance and customer service. You will motivate your team, embrace change, and drive profitability while building lasting customer relationships across roofing products and services.

You’ll bring proven branch leadership, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work toward targets. A Counterbalance FLT is a bonus; training can be provided.

• Previous branch management experience preferably within the construction industry.
• Great interpersonal skills, tenacious and level-headed with the ability to manage a varied team.
• To be profit driven and ambitious with a desire to learn and develop your career within SIG.
• Experience of all aspects of a branch including sales and customer service, CRM system, people management, operations, pricing and stock control.

Branch Manager at SIG Roofing

What does the role involve?

As the Branch Manager, you will manage the day to day running of the branch with a particular focus on sales performance and customer service, with the ability to leading by example and motivate your team to deliver outstanding service. You will be a self-motivated individual who can embrace change and motivate others to do so. You will have a proven track record in meeting targets, building strong relationships with customers and exploiting business opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

• Previous branch management experience preferably within the construction industry
• Great interpersonal skills, tenacious and level-headed with the ability to manage a varied team
• A level-headed decision maker who understands the importance of people in the successful running of a business
• To be profit driven and ambitious, a great team player with great interpersonal skills and a desire to learn and develop your career within SIG
• Experience of all aspects of a branch including sales and customer service, CRM system, people management, operations, pricing and stock control

What you’ll bring:

• Sales or customer service experience, ideally in the construction or building materials sector.
• Good understanding of roofing products (preferred but not essential).
• Team leadership experience or supervisory capability.
• Strong communication and IT skills (Microsoft Office, databases).
• Confidence in working toward targets and providing excellent service.
• A Counterbalance FLT licence would be a bonus—but training can be provided.
