Job summary
Jewson Bolton is recruiting for an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in leading the team, driving sales and profitability, and maintaining high service levels at the Bolton branch. The role involves daily supervision, customer relationship building, and ensuring safe, compliant branch operations.
You will develop people, monitor targets, and help grow new business while occasionally deputising for the Branch Manager during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Experience in leading and coaching a team.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive sales.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the Branch Manager to drive sales, profitability and branch performance.
- Lead, coach and develop a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers and win new business.
- Monitor sales, margins, stock levels and branch performance against targets.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, compliance and stock management.
- Deputise for the Branch Manager when required.
