Job summary

LBS Builders Merchants Limited is seeking an proactive Assistant Branch Manager in Llanelli to join our team. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to cover all operational areas, driving sales, service, and compliance while leading a small team and promoting a safe working environment.

This hands-on role focuses on improving profitability, strengthening customer and supplier relationships, and delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Support and deputise for the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Identify process improvements and implement efficiencies.
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Support sales by advising customers and delivering great service.
• Monitor local market trends and competitor activity.
• Contribute to achieving financial targets and profitability.
• Help lead the team, develop staff, motivate, and manage performance.
• Ensure high health & safety standards across the branch.
