Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in the United Kingdom to support the Branch Manager and lead the Sales Advisor team in delivering sales targets and excellent customer service. You will help manage daily operations, communicate performance updates, and drive branch profitability.

The role requires a proactive leader with strong interpersonal skills and experience in a sales, target-driven environment. Automotive knowledge is helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and motivating a diverse team.
• Sales-target driven with a focus on KPIs.
• Ability to set high standards of work and appearance.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Confident leadership by example.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience with P&L / commercial management.
• Familiarity with MAM or Allicat is desirable.
• Automotive knowledge is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales, margin and profit to meet budget.
• Monitor and coach Sales Advisors against KPIs.
• Communicate performance updates to the team.
• Recognise excellence with constructive feedback.
• Inspire team to achieve branch goals and manage behaviour.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and escalate when needed.
• Deliver solutions where customer service fell short.
• Lead by example in customer service and operations.
• Oversee a 45-hour work week with alternating Saturdays.
