Job summary

GSF Car Parts is looking for an energetic Assistant Branch Manager in Bridgwater to support the Branch Manager and lead the Sales Advisor team. You will drive daily sales, customer satisfaction, and branch performance while coaching staff to meet KPIs and budgets.

You should be a proactive leader with a passion for retail and the automotive aftermarket, capable of motivating a diverse team, maintaining high service standards, and embodying our customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales-driven retail environment.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Customer service oriented with high standards.
• Willingness to work the 45-hour week.
• Good communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales, margin and profit, ensuring staffing to hit daily budgets.
• Measure and manage sales advisors against KPIs.
• Daily team briefings and performance updates with constructive feedback.
• Recognise excellence and motivate the team with positive feedback.
• Engage the team to hit branch goals and address disruptive behaviour.
• Ensure staff deliver excellent customer service and keep the Branch Manager informed.
• Deliver solutions when customer service standards fall short.
• Instill a solution-based customer service approach.
