Job summary

Cornish Bakery is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in the United Kingdom to lead shifts, coach and develop colleagues, and ensure top-tier customer service. You will help bake and serve award-winning food, deploy staff efficiently, and maintain high standards of quality and safety while driving sales and KPI results.

You will receive training through Rise and Shine and join a team that values engagement, accountability and a positive, resilient working culture in a bustling bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing environment.
• A proven ability to motivate a team and deliver excellent customer service
• Commercial awareness and confidence working towards sales and KPI targets
• A strong commitment to food quality, safety and operational standards
• A positive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
• The confidence to make decisions, take ownership and lead by example

Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards.
