Job summary

Transport for Wales is seeking an Assistant Asset Engineer (Buildings and Civils) to support the asset engineering team in managing TfW assets. You will apply asset management processes, help evaluate performance, and assist in developing enhancement schemes while maintaining accurate civils data across systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build networks to improve service delivery.
• Experience in civil/structural engineering projects in rail environments is desirable.
• Strong understanding of asset management processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support asset management processes with Infrastructure Ownership to oversee asset management services.
• Monitor performance of CVL Infrastructure Manager using asset data and failure precursors to inform decisions.
• Assist in drafting specifications and reviewing enhancement schemes with Senior Asset Engineer.
• Provide technical support and guidance to ensure civils asset data accuracy across company systems.
