Looking for your next move in Asset Management?
Paisley Housing Association is looking for an experienced and motivated Asset Officer to join our Asset Management Team.
This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll work across reactive repairs, voids, planned and cyclical maintenance, adaptations and property inspections, with responsibility for managing your own workload and helping us deliver a high‑quality service to our tenants.
Reporting to the Asset Manager, you’ll manage an allocated geographical patch, diagnose repairs, specify and inspect works, coordinate contractors and ensure works are completed efficiently, to a high standard and with a strong focus on customer service and value for money.
You’ll also manage an allocated share of our planned and cyclical maintenance programmes, monitor contractor performance and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our Asset Management services.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, being out on site, working with people and seeing the results of their work.
We’re looking for someone with good practical knowledge of property maintenance who is confident dealing with tenants, contractors and colleagues.
You’ll ideally have experience across repairs, voids, planned or cyclical maintenance and be comfortable diagnosing defects, specifying works, managing contractors and balancing competing priorities.
You’ll bring strong communication and organisational skills, good IT capability and a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service.
An HNC in a construction‑related discipline, similar technical/property management qualification, or equivalent experience is essential. A relevant professional qualification such as RICS, CIOB or ICWCI would be desirable.
We know choosing your next role is about more than just the job title.
You’ll be joining a friendly, community‑based organisation where you can have a genuine influence on how services are delivered, while benefiting from excellent EVH terms and conditions, flexibility and a strong overall employment package.
Our benefits include:
You’ll be joining a busy and supportive Asset Team, working across a varied programme of repairs, maintenance and investment activity.
The role offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to take ownership of your work, build your experience and contribute ideas about how we continue to improve our services for tenants.
Whether you’re diagnosing a repair, managing contractor performance, delivering planned works or supporting wider asset management priorities, you’ll have a visible and meaningful role in the service we provide.
If you’re an experienced property or maintenance professional looking for a varied role, excellent benefits, flexibility and the opportunity to make a real difference, we’d really like to hear from you.
