NIFHA - Northern Ireland Federation of Housing Associations in Belfast is seeking a Property Assets Manager (Ref PAM/09/26) for a full-time 37-hour week. You will oversee the housing portfolio, maintain high standards, and drive investment aligned with sustainability goals, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
The role requires strong project management, budgeting, and data-management capabilities, with leadership across departments to optimise asset performance and lifespan.
We are a Housing Association in North Belfast providing affordable quality housing to those in need. We have recently expanded our operations in Belfast to over 1200 properties and we currently employ 50 staff. We wish to recruit a suitably qualified person for the following post:
The Property Assets Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Housing Association’s property portfolio is maintained to high standards, remains compliant with relevant regulations, and aligns with our investment and sustainability strategies. This role involves overseeing planned maintenance, driving investment decisions for long-term asset management, and playing a key role in progressing the organisation’s Net Zero carbon strategy. The Property Assets Manager ensures compliance with health and safety standards, building regulations, and environmental targets, while also optimizing the performance and lifespan of the housing stock.
This is a full-time permanent post working 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate must have:
3 rd level education in Asset Management, Building Surveying, Property Management, or a related field OR a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field.
