Job summary

Partick Housing Association is seeking an enthusiastic Asset Officer to join our Investment Team and help deliver efficient asset management and investment programmes across our housing stock.

You will work closely with the Asset Manager to support planned maintenance, capital projects, contractor management and compliance with health and safety requirements, while maintaining excellent customer service and value for money.

Qualifications

  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical, construction, surveying, asset management or property-related discipline, or substantial relevant experience.
  • Experience of property maintenance, planned works, contractor management or housing asset management.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Good ICT skills and experience with performance, asset or property-related information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting planned maintenance and capital investment programmes.
  • Managing contractors, monitoring performance and ensuring value for money.
  • Assisting with procurement, contract administration and project delivery.
  • Maintaining and analysing stock condition and asset data.
  • Supporting compliance, health and safety and tenant safety requirements.
  • Monitoring budgets and performance information.
  • Collaborating with tenants, contractors and colleagues to achieve outcomes and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Asset Officer to join our Investment Team and play a key role in delivering our ambitious asset management and investment programmes.

About the Role

Working closely with the Asset Manager, you will help deliver efficient, compliant and customer-focused asset management services across our housing stock. You will support the planning and delivery of investment and improvement programmes, ensuring our homes continue to meet high standards and evolving regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting planned maintenance and capital investment programmes.
  • Managing contractors, monitoring performance and ensuring value for money.
  • Assisting with procurement, contract administration and project delivery.
  • Maintaining and analysing stock condition and asset data.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines technical knowledge with excellent customer focus and communication skills.

You should have:

  • An HNC qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant technical, construction, surveying, asset management or property-related discipline, or substantial relevant experience.
  • Experience of property maintenance, planned works, contractor management or housing asset management.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
