Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an experienced Compliance & Asset Manager to oversee asset data, statutory compliance, lifecycle planning and quality assurance across our facilities management portfolio.

You will support operational teams to maintain safety and service delivery at the highest standards. In this role you will manage asset data in CAFM systems (Maximo or equivalent), lead compliance audits, drive improvements, and collaborate with clients and suppliers to ensure regulatory obligations

Qualifications

• Experience in building services, FM, or asset management environments.
• Experience managing asset data and lifecycle planning programmes.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance in facilities management.
• Experience conducting compliance, technical, and quality audits.
• Knowledge of accident reporting and investigation processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with asset change management and records.
• Strong IT skills including Maximo and CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate asset data within CAFM systems, ensuring compliance and auditability.
• Provide guidance on statutory compliance, asset management and legislative requirements.
• Monitor asset condition, lifecycle needs and replacement programmes.
• Support lifecycle planning and asset investment reporting for projects.
• Align preventative maintenance with SFG20 standards and plan maintenance.
• Review and approve updates in Maximo or equivalent CAFM systems.
• Conduct compliance, technical and quality audits and report findings.
• Support health, safety, environmental, and quality activities across the contract.
• Identify compliance risks and drive corrective actions to improve performance.
• Develop and support compliance training programmes and awareness.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure third-party suppliers meet standards.
• Maintain statutory certificates and compliance documentation for audit readiness.
• Provide expert guidance at client meetings, audits and reviews.
• Support development of a strong compliance and safety culture across the contract.
