Job summary

Imperial College London is seeking an M&E Compliance Manager to provide authoritative assurance across its large, complex estate. The role focuses on maintaining compliance of mechanical, electrical and fabric assets with statutory and organisational requirements.

You will develop robust governance for PPMs, inspections and certification, analyse performance data and escalate non-compliance while using CAFM systems and asset registers to drive continuous improvement across campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E maintenance and engineering compliance across a complex estate.
• Strong ability to develop systems using technology for robust compliance management.
• Proven capability to produce performance, risk and assurance reporting for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance across M&E assets including HVAC, electrical distribution, life safety, water hygiene, lifts and fire compartmentation.
• Develop maintenance governance; ensure PPM schedules, statutory inspections, certification and asset information are complete.
• Analyse performance data, identify risks and escalate non‑compliance promptly.
