Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a Head of Technical Infrastructure & Asset Management to lead engineering standards, compliance and asset strategy across a large property portfolio. You will shape technical governance, drive audits, and develop competency across teams while influencing long-term asset investment decisions.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of statutory and contractual compliance, capital planning and performance reporting for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in engineering leadership and asset management.
• Proven ability to develop governance, audit and assurance programmes.
• Strong knowledge of statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of technical standards, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee asset management strategy, data integrity and lifecycle planning.
• Manage asset audits, condition data, and reporting to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead capital investment planning and collaboration with capital teams.
• Develop and coach technical teams, including apprentices and early careers.
